Day 4 ...
Since I have been wanting to use Tim Holtz new paper rosette Alterations die, I dug into my scrap box again and waa-laa!! Let me tell ya people, that die is easier than sliced bread! I also used one of Tim's embossing folders on the black card stock and then some Graphic 45 bits and pieces. Trying to take a photo in my dark studio was tough, this was the best one out of almost 20 pic's -yikes!!
When I went into work today, one of my co-workers (and sweet friend) brought in the 21 day art journal she made! (I didn't even know she was going to do it) We were so excited to tell each other about our first 3 days, it was great. We both shared about how we wanted our art journal to be perfect....HA! I used a long stamp on yesterday's page, and part of the image didn't stamp because of texture on the back side of the paper. I immediately thought "great, I've ruined it already". Then I reminded myself that this was about playing & having fun!!!! So I filled it in and you can't even tell that the stamp didn't stamp :)
I was also worried as today went on that I wasn't going to feel like craftin' when I got home. I got home late because I am covering for someone, traffic was nasty and I had to stop to put gas in my car....ya know, then dinner, pick up, put away....blah blah blah. I started thinking that it is a choice, it's something that I really wanted to do -so just get up, and go DO IT!!! I was exhausted when I got home and now I feel great. I completed something I said I would do. I did it!! So bring it on day 5, bring it on!!

Another card from my scrap paper box, i'm thinking that this will be a great way to use up some of my scraps! I painted and glittered my Tim Holtz birdcage die (i used grungeboard), some rolled glue dots to get the dimension and Bo Bunny dot paper for the background. The quotes is one of my favorites and it is Quotopia #50347 stamp... i have no clue what company, there is nothing else on the packaging. It was nice to use some spring like colors, it's been gray outside :( Is it too early to complain about winter??? ha! I am off to go journal in my art journal, i already decorated the page :)

My mom stopped by today to finish up a Teresa Collins travel album (I tought it for a class at Scrapbook Nook in Kent, WA) she couldn't make the class, so she needed some of the stamps i used and also my Bind-it-All. Maybe my goal for the next 21 day Challenge should be to clean my studio so we could each have a chair to sit on!!!
We are going to Josie's (my sister-n-law) house for dinner tonight, yummy! I'm looking forward to seeing her, it's been a while!! Sooooo, gotta go!! Have a great night and remember to: Honor Your Creative Soul!! (that's my business tag line-love it!!)

So here I go...Rhonna's 21 day challenge!! It started yesterday, and i didn't get my card done like i wanted to. AND i am not going to let it mess me up so i did it today :) I have a bag of scraps from past class kits that i've been wanting to use...it was like shopping and i didn't have to buy anything!! My goal is to get committed to my blog, to share my creative projects and also share my daily journey in my Pink world!! So please leave comments if you've stopped by to visit. Thanks for peeking :)

my friend jim madsen made this desk top organizer (i've been callin' it "the holes" for me and i can hardly stand it!!!! i absolutely love it, it holds some much and it's so accessible too. i painted it the same pink that i painted the stripe in my studio. so thanks jim, you ROCK!!!
